Who is the Wedding Coach? Well that is me – Nicky Gomes-Luis – a wedding and event specialist.
What do I do? Well I have two companies, the first is Lavish
Events and the second is The Celebration Studio.
Lavish Events is a wedding planning business – basically we
plan weddings (and other events) for a wide range of clients. Based on our
clients wedding needs we can either plan the whole wedding from start to finish,
or we can help with certain aspects of the wedding. Some brides and grooms only
call us in to be their Wedding Day Director, this is where we are there on the
day to ensure the wedding runs smoothly, on time & according to plan, this
way, the couple (and their families) can relax and totally enjoy every moment

I started The Celebration Studio along with my Mum, Barbara;
it is a wedding information centre in Parnell, Auckland. It is the perfect place for you to
visit if you are planning your own wedding, there are loads of suppliers on
show, samples, brochures and advice on tap to help you through the planning

I also run Wedding Planning Workshops at The Celebration
Studio (this is really where the Wedding Coach comes into play). The workshops
are free of charge for couples who are planning their own wedding and need some
help and direction (or even just the confirmation that they are doing

As a wedding and event specialist, I can offer a wide range
of services to couples who have all sorts of different wedding needs – for those
that are DIY’ing their wedding The Celebration Studio and the Wedding Planning
